Yarrow Bleed Stop Powder

An 18th century front line field nurse's sidekick. In a time when natural medicine was THE medicine, yarrow was (and still is) a dependable med kit ally. 

Wild yarrow I foraged and powdered creates a styptic powder. Sprinkle a small amount directly onto the bleeding wound, allow the powder to remain on the wound to clot & stop the bleeding. 

A wonderful addition to a backpacking, camping, or hunting med kit.
